We work with an excellent Italian builder, who specialises in the restoration of old farmhouses and historical properties. The way this works is that you buy the 'wreck' through him with a full, fixed price restoration project in place for everything. This does mean everything: roof, walls, windows, plumbing, heating, water, TV connections, telephone, windows, doors, all finishes inside and out. His price also includes landscaping and a swimming pool installation. A complete and finished project. You have the opportunity at the outset of amending the plans to suit your lifestyle and requirements, and can upgrade from his traditional, standard finishes to something more luxurious or bespoke if that is what you wish. 

The beauty is that your house can be complete and ready for occupation within 6 months of signing your Compromesso (exchange) contract. We have some very happy clients who have opted for this route.
